I went to school in New York City and in those days it was mandatory to take woodshop. It was then that I fell in love with woodworking. After graduating college with a degree in Psychology and Grad school with an MBA, I started my own specialized clothing company.

When I retired I was bored and went back to my love of woodworking. I found this incredible stainless steel blade and designed a wooden handle for it and the Fiddle Bow Knife was born.

I have been making the Fiddle Bow Knife since 2005, selling them at Arts & Craft shows and Farmers Markets. It gets its name from the fact that it looks like a fiddlebow. In 2006 I got the idea to make a wooden Fiddle cutting board and selling them as a set with the Fiddle Bow knife and it sold extremely well. That put me into the unique shaped wooden cutting board business.
